The City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department and the City of Albuquerque Department of Municipal Development invite you to a public meeting for the proposed Edith Transfer Station Project.

Scope of Proposed Project: New transfer station; administrative offices and vehicle maintenance facility at the site of the current City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Facility at 4600 Edith Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87107; in order to repurpose the existing solid waste facility with improved site aesthetics, including architectural and landscaping improvements along Comanche and Edith; and reduce air pollution and fuel consumption.
Public Meeting Purpose: To give area neighbors and businesses the opportunity to learn more about the proposed project, ask questions, and provide input. Comments will be received on design aspects and considerations for the proposed project, including traffic issues, environmental and health issues, operational issues, bicycle and pedestrian concerns, site layout, aesthetics, and landscaping.
